About the club

The previous Brentwood '72 handball club was National Champion in 5 consecutive years between 1979 and 1983 in the English National League 1 and players from Brentwood represented Great Britain and England.

With London winning the 2012 Olympics, and handball being an Olympic sport, the handball club was started up again in 2009 by Tom Smith and John Compton under the coaching of experienced player and coach Hans-Jörg.

Everyone is welcome to come along and try this exciting new sport from beginners to experienced players. The sessions are open to men and women. Regular training sessions take place every Monday at the
Brentwood centre.
